+This directory preserves documentation from before the repository-wide documentation consolidation on 2026-09-11.

+It contains active documentation and documentation-like root files that were inventoried before being rewritten, merged, moved, or removed. The archive exists to make the cleanup recoverable and to preserve historical TODOs, decisions, audit evidence, deployment notes, and other context.

+Use the current documentation tree under `docs/` as the authoritative source. This backup is a snapshot of the pre-cleanup state and must not be treated as current system documentation.
