# Separate release and model qualification

**Production readiness: NO-GO.** The owner separately authorized main/live publication despite known qualifications; that authorization does not turn a failed pipeline into a verified deployment. Phase7 development acceptance and Phase8 readiness remain separate decisions.

Main `5f835e54a9b74e6b71418422e28431b2af06453f` is normally pushed/directly verified. CI838 test job1727 failed with Node20.20.1/Jest SIGSEGV on its initial command and pre-existing retry; deploy job1728 was skipped. Earlier CI834 Python and CI837 .NET crashes have distinct matching native core metadata. No new retry, signal suppression, relaxed assertion or deployment bypass is added. [Failure evidence](CURRENT_FAILURES.md) retains the job/core identities and exact raw locations.

## Bounded runner observation

Read-only SSH snapshot06:10:43UTC identifies an x86_64 i9-9940X/28threads/64GiB host. At that observation package temperature is32°C, cores24–32°C, all core/package throttle counters are0, available memory56.49GB and root free space55GB. The runner daemon is running with OOMKilled=false; its64MiB shared memory and uncapped configuration do not establish the removed CI job containers' limits. Idle observations do not reconstruct conditions during a crash.

Current-boot accessible journal checks contain no matching machine-check/OOM/thermal records. ECC is disabled. Older18October ata3 WRITE FPDMA QUEUED/IDNF errors exist, but no connection to the CI crashes is demonstrated. `smartctl` queries fail with permission denied, and the `pi` account cannot read retained root-owned crash cores. **Hardware/library cause remains unproven.** Operator access for disk-health/core diagnosis and hardware qualification remains the concrete infrastructure dependency. No installation, stress test, service recovery, privileged directory mount, model qualification or production mutation was performed.

## Live identity and requested model

Last live read05:22:25UTC finds health/ready/root200and healthy core containers, but checkout remains7d641ed and backend identity contains literal unevaluated shell expressions. It does not verify the requested release. AI is still the earlier qwen2.5:7b image/configuration at that observation; no later activation is claimed.

Requested `qwen3.5:9b-q4_K_M` is installed and has an earlier bounded synthetic probe. The prepared adapter suppresses thinking output for that model family and passes offline contracts, but its new live deployment is unverified. Respect the owner's live-first priority: activation remains pending a verified adapter release. P5-13 remains withheld, with deployed identity/production-equivalent inference,366required model calls, independent human semantic review, review UI and integration acceptance still outstanding. Installing or probing the model does not satisfy them.

Production F04 ingress, complete backup/isolated restore, effective schema/configuration/secrets/provider verification, tested rollback and correct deployed identity remain independent release requirements. No Phase8 implementation or blanket production GO follows from Phase7 tests.
