A3-IM03 — A1 dashboard and optional onboarding
Status: IMPLEMENTED / VALIDATED; publication and owner Gate F review tracked in DASHBOARD_VALIDATION.md. Owner explicitly answered the navigation Gate F question: "Approve navigation and A3-IM03" on 3 November 2026. Approved navigation checkpoint992608c7 remains immutable. Branch codex/a3-ui-03 starts there, with the independently validated small localisation patch d4b938fa applied as5e8a07d1. No wholesale merge of the older i18n/theme tree. Combined checks qualify this integration only for the stated scope.
Scope / task ledger
- Read existing DashboardView, OnboardingChecklist, DashboardGrid/layout/hook/editor, source-backed completion tests, backend DashboardLayout reader/validation and current A3 contracts.
- Baseline dashboard/grid/layout/onboarding and combined navigation/metadata checks.
- Task-first A1 defaults for new/reset layouts; existing geometry, schema2/CAS and controls preserved. Additive agenda ID is the only server contract change (ruling below); no migration.
- Quiet hierarchy, personal greeting when a recorded name exists, movable week glance beside pipeline; reporting retained. Week coverage limited to recorded attention-feed dates.
- Optional owner-scoped setup, skip/resume and on-demand walkthrough; skips never count as completed data. Guidance controls do not mutate source data or grant consent.
- Targeted regression, types/lint/build and fixture-backed browser journeys across languages/themes/viewports; physical renderer unchanged.
- Independent read-only review: no actionable findings; reviewer45 tests overlap final95.
- Commit/publish/read-back and next Gate F owner review. Do not begin A3-IM04 before approval; continue unrelated eligible work.
Preservation:57 groups/34 routes remain; all nine existing widget IDs remain supported. Career Profile stays canonical, account identity remains separate, old dismissal keys remain compatible, owner disposal prevents cross-account state. Existing layout persistence and rendering logic stay in their owners. Legacy version1 preferences keep their recorded order; schema2 coordinates are not repacked on load. API/provider/model/backend/production qualification remains distinct from controlled browser evidence.
Ruling: the week panel must be separately movable/hideable to reproduce A1's week-left/progress-right row. Add one agenda widget ID to the existing catalogue and server JSON whitelist; no schema migration or new endpoint. Keep all nine old widgets and their saved coordinates. Existing saved layouts append the new widget hidden; only new/reset defaults show it. Backend parser/CAS/bounds/collision protections remain unchanged and require targeted regression. The earlier plan's "no backend contract change" assumption is superseded by this small additive ID; no new calendar/provider service is introduced.
Next dependency after review: A3-IM04 / approved B1 application tracking/detail work. No automatic advance through a future protected owner gate.
