P5-15-00 — Phase 5 slice inventory

Planning audit dated 2026-10-09, against 46a0c0c6d23464869f50c0d88552963c29cfdacf on codex/ui-redesign-phase4. This inventories the approved Phase 5 plan, every attempted readiness/implementation checkpoint, relevant current owners/tests and their historical evidence. No application test, browser journey, provider call, Docker operation or production check was executed for this document. Test results below are attributed to their original records, not a fresh P5-15 baseline.

The hashes below were resolved from Git history, including application-file history rather than just README history. git rev-list --ancestry-path 2a2f9e4..46a0c0c contains every listed Phase 5 commit; the linked component and test files remain present at the audited HEAD. The P4-06 record is the original conditional foundation baseline, not current acceptance. Sources and successor decisions take precedence over historical future-tense text.

Status meaning

Independent P5-11 and P5-12 findings

P5-11 is implemented, not missing or subsumed by P5-14. Current code retains measuredHtml, previewBusy/previewReady, the settings-ready observer attachment, automatic width fit, named scroll region, measured count, retained page-label slots and return-to-existing-editor action. Four P5-11 unit tests cover initial fit, settled announcement, overlapping success/failure rejection and retained pending draft/focus. Two native presentation cases cover one/multiple/ten-page documents, loading/error/Retry, fit/reflow, keyboard return and unchanged source/sibling state. The historical final baseline was 941 backend / 434 frontend / 108 actual browser passes, with 16/16 original fixtures, 36 = 36 pages, 44 captures and 211 axe scans. Held/failed long-document checks record 0px scroll change; all 16 renderer HTML hashes match pagination readiness. Native keyboard and agent screenshot review do not establish human spoken announcements, complete sticky/reflow behavior, production fonts/photos or exhaustive document fidelity. Automatic fit exists; manual preview zoom/fullscreen/fit-page/thumbnails were not implemented or required by this bounded slice.

P5-12 is implemented independently, with current common Style/Layout headings, Advanced accordion, nullable numeric validation, effective template/sidebar layout, saved-value options and capability-dependent controls. The setting-to-control/normalization/render matrix accounts for all supported controls and saved-only values; all nine existing template IDs and Pro policies remain. Six unit cases cover disclosure no-write, range/reset behavior, inheritance/dormant values, locks/confirmed resets, Bokmål naming and exact legacy values such as 15.24mm. Four native settings journeys cover state/preview/save/Undo/history/reset/template/sidebar/keyboard/mobile readback. Its historical final baseline was 941 / 440 frontend in 81 suites / 112 actual browser passes; original fidelity remains 16/16, 36 = 36 pages, and eight additional settings exports pass 8/8, 24 = 24 pages. Forty-four UI captures and 223 axe scans are recorded, with incomplete checks retained. The gallery thumbnails remain schematic, and the shared gallery consumer is touched without a CV-library redesign. Saved-only showPageNumbers has no renderer implementation; this is documented existing debt, not a newly working P5-12 control. No normalization, renderer, font-installation or document-history model was added.

Historical baseline reconciliation

This ledger counts actual browser successes. + XF denotes the unchanged P2-D01 expected failure at that historical checkpoint; it is not an actual success. Later ordinary package passes supersede that annotation. Focused subsets and render fixtures are not added again to whole-suite totals.

At P5-14 the retained ancillary counts are sidecar 49, focused AI/revision 108/5, isolated HTTP 2, rate-limit/ingress/PDF admission/configuration 9/6/1/3, original render fidelity 16/16; 36 = 36, settings exports 8/8; 24 = 24. TypeScript, lint and production/API/test builds were recorded passing there. These are historical local checks; ingress configurations are not F04 deployed-ingress evidence and HTTP synthetic sidecars are not live-model qualification. Zero axe violations coexist with incomplete checks and absent human acceptance.

Plan-versus-current-code discrepancies

Blocked gates are historical, not current missing implementation. The original plan's P5-04b “blocked contract” heading and P5-04a mismatch are superseded by 6fc8937/384dfa8; this planning package reconciles the current heading to “read prerequisite satisfied.” Original P5-08a G-PACKAGE NO-GO is superseded by acd1d946/ac6d782. Original P5-09 rendering NO-GO is superseded by efc9e7b. Preserve their failed evidence while using successor decisions.
P2-D01 is required to pass now. The plan's “retain P2-D01 until separately proven fixed,” P4-06 and early slice expected-failure statements describe history. Native capture/immutable readback/ZIP repair proved it locally at P5-08b readiness; no P5-15 expected-failure waiver is supported.
P5-11 and P5-12 both exist. P5-11's “stop before P5-12” and P5-13 qualification's “P5-12 latest completed CV UI/no P5-14” describe their own checkpoints. P5-14 is the current successor. Independent implementation hashes, owners and checks above prevent treating a later frame fix as either earlier slice's implementation proof.
P5-13 prerequisites are not P5-13 UI completion. Protocol guards/typed transport/Production withholding were implemented; semantic/environment/qualification records are documentation. Real calls remain 0/366, human reviews 0, rates unmeasured, redesigned current/proposed/diff/error/locked review presentation absent. Retain the full return conditions.
P5-14 scope was revised, not fully completed. The later approved 09–12 subset can proceed despite Production NO-GO. It cannot satisfy the original edit→preview→AI review→Undo/history→save→export journey while P5-13 is deferred. P5-10-O01 closes only the demonstrated owned nested-drop/default-cancellation cases, not cross-section transfer or all touch hardware.
Source/version words need their actual domain meaning. Current CV is a lens over current canonical source; saved versions contain settings, not an immutable Career Profile/name/PDF snapshot. Restore appends settings against current source. Submitted packages separately freeze source/settings/rendered content/files. This is an established preserved contract, not a missing “historical PDF” Phase 5 feature.
P5-12 corrects the older date-format inventory. The original readiness prose calls DateFormat a frontend hint; the existing resolver actually formats supported Experience/Education/Project dates, while Certification dates remain source strings. P5-12 documents this existing behavior rather than claiming it introduced formatting. Stored showPageNumbers remains unrendered.
Evidence incompleteness is not completion. P5-03 still contains a historical “screenshots/manual review pending” sentence followed by final rendered review; the final paragraph is the executed evidence. Across slices, screenshot review, keyboard automation, finite synthetic output corpora and zero axe violations do not supply the still-required human, physical-device, production or complete visual acceptance matrix. Prior candidate failures and unaccepted interrupted runs remain outside accepted totals.

Retained Phase 5 gaps versus later-phase scope

Sources: Phase 3 CV workspace, AI contract, route plan, Phase 3 sequencing, and Phase 5 ownership/scheduling. A Phase 3 proposal is not automatically a retained Phase 5 implementation requirement.

Planning conclusion: implemented independent slices and repaired readiness gates are identifiable and retained; unconditional Phase 5 acceptance is not established. P5-15 execution must use this inventory and current source, run its authorized fresh baseline, obtain required real reviewer evidence, retain exclusions and assign any preservation regression to its originating owner. This document supplies no production GO and no human sign-off.
