# Local AI service

|
FastAPI service for local job summarisation, bounded PDF/DOCX/TXT/Markdown/image extraction, OCR, and optional Ollama/Gemini/Groq CV processing.
|
|
|
|
Run locally with Python 3.12 and `python -m uvicorn app:app --host 127.0.0.1 --port 8001`, or use Docker Compose. Protected endpoints require `AI_SERVICE_TOKEN` when configured; `/health` remains open for probes. Parser limits are controlled by `PARSER_*` variables.
